Hello, I’m Shila (pronounced Shyla)
I’m a formally trained and educated NCIDQ certified interior designer and I know how challenging it is to balance clients while continuing to grow your business. How?
Well, because I’ve done it.
In 2013, l left a job at a luxury architecture firm, took the leap, and focused on my own interior architecture and design studio from the ground up.
We are technical interior designers—we think about how things will actually be constructed in the field instead of just hoping it’s all going to work out. Clear documentation and finalized selections before construction starts will make your life much easier.
I’ve learned a lot about how to work with people, and about myself. I knew the work would be rewarding, but doing client work and working ON the business are two very different things.
